Hi, I'm Juan!

My journey with SAE started right after graduating from Salem State University in 2017, when I joined as the Coordinator of Member Services. Not long after, I stepped into the Staff Accountant role for the Fraternity and Foundation, and a few years later earned my MSA from Purdue. 

In 2020, I joined SAE Financial & Housing Corporation as Controller and have since had the privilege of helping F&H and Greek Housing Management grow and expand their services. In May 2025, I took on my current role as Senior Director of Finance, overseeing all three SAE organizations and supporting Barrister (Delta Chi).

No two days are ever the same, but most involve overseeing our Business Operations Department, managing financial planning, budgeting, audits, and taxes, and collaborating with alumni, Province Archons, Board members, and other key stakeholders.

What I enjoy most about my work is helping others develop financial confidence, whether that’s training officers to run independent, sustainable organizations or working with volunteers and alumni who want to make a lasting impact.

I have a background in forensic accounting, which means I love solving problems, rebuilding systems, and finding the details others might miss. One piece of advice that’s stuck with me is, "You can only fix today and tomorrow, so don’t forsake the future for the errors of the past."

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me walking my German Shepherd, Ava, catching a Red Sox or Tennessee Volunteers game, bowling, collecting CDs, or experimenting with my Traeger smoker.

I’m a proud member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon from Salem State (Massachusetts Tau-Gamma) and loved building connections, helping grow Greek Life on campus, and, of course, dominating intramural sports like softball and zorb ball (yes, rolling around in a giant inflatable ball is as fun and ridiculous as it seems).
