Hi, I’m John! 

My career with Sigma Alpha Epsilon started somewhat unexpectedly. After spending several years in the legal world, I found myself looking for a new direction and decided to apply to SAE on a whim, just to see what opportunities might be out there. A month later, I got a call back, and I’ve been here ever since.

A typical day for me involves answering questions about billing, collections, leasing, completing projects for my team, and collaborating with others to solve bigger challenges. What I love most about my work is the people I get to do it with, my coworkers have truly become like a second family.

I’ve worked in customer service since my freshman year of college, and that experience has taught me how to connect with members, parents, and vendors in all kinds of situations. It’s helped me stay patient, resourceful, and solution-oriented.

The best piece of professional advice I’ve received is that you’re stronger than you think. There have been times when I’ve faced uncertainty or tough challenges, but with creativity, persistence, and the support of my team, I’ve always found a way forward.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing video games, and trying new foods. I’m also proud to be a founding father of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Chapter at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. The brotherhood and the opportunity to give back through volunteering were my favorite parts of Greek Life and helped shape who I am today.
